Love™ is a gluten-free dog food recipe made with dehydrated Midwestern beef and produce like sweet potatoes, dandelion greens and papaya. Love is a higher-protein, higher-fat, natural human-grade dog food, that’s perfect for all life stages, including puppies, pregnancy and nursing as well as active adults dogs, who need a performance dog food.
Because Love is grain and gluten free, it’s great for dogs who have allergies to grains or gluten, or those who need a low carbohydrate dog food. It’s also ideal for dogs with egg or poultry allergies.

Written by Darragh | 10/14/12My rescued Bichon Frise showed typical paw chewing and she is both a love and one who loves licking. So, being intolerant to gluten myself I wanted to make the licks not be itchy. Many seemed to work. However, I was surprised that the only food that helped the pup was LOVE. She loves all the HK products. Thanks for great life stamina food for our gal.
Written by Amanda | 10/9/12I have a 5 month old Vizsla. Although she has never had issues with her dog food we gave this a try. Recently we had a scare that her liver may not be functioning correctly. I decided to get her on some supplements and try the Love and Embark foods. It turns out that her liver is fine. She loves this food though and looks better and has more energy than she ever did before. We are getting another Vizsla soon and he will also be started on this food. Great product, dogs love the food and makes a big difference that you can actually see.
Written by Megan | 9/3/12My rescued pit bull refuses to eat kibble and quality canned food is more expensive (and less healthy) to feed than LOVE by The Honest Kitchen. She absolutely loves this food. I love how it has plenty of meat, fruits, veggies, honey, and flax seed. There are no plant based protein sources and no fillers so I only feed 2 dry cups per day vs 3 cans of canned food. Thinking of trying THRIVE next and just rotate between the two.
Dehydrated hormone-free beef, sweet potatoes, potatoes, organic flaxseed, organic coconut, parsley, dandelion greens, papaya, cranberries, pumpkin, honey, rosemary, tricalcium phosphate, choline chloride, zinc amino acid chelate, vitamin D3 supplement, vitamin E supplement, potassium iodide, potassium chloride, iron amino acid chelate, copper amino acid chelate.
