|437 calories per cup|
Zeal™ is a grain-free dog food made with wild, line-caught white fish and produce like sweet potatoes, pumpkin and parsley. Zeal is a natural human grade dog food that’s created especially for sensitive adult dogs.
Zeal is higher in protein and low in fat and carbohydrates, so it’s ideal for dogs with certain dietary restrictions. It is one of our most popular foods for itchy dogs or those with sensitive stomachs. Because Zeal is a grain-free dog food, it’s especially suited for pups who have allergies to certain pet food ingredients, like poultry, flax and white potatoes.

Written by Dori | 8/22/12Wow. I cant believe that Stephanies dogs are not loving Zeal. I find it even more unbelievable that the pet store that she shops stopped carrying the Zeal. I have three small dogs. A Maltese, a Maltipoo and a Yorkipoo and they all absolutely go crazy when they start to smell the Zeal as its rehydrating. They cant eat it fast enough. I started using it as a topper over the different kibbles from Brothers Complete dog food which they also love but I find that I seem to be slowly transitioning over to the Zeal because all of my dogs are doing so well and love meal time. My Maltipoo, Katie, has many allergies to foods and the environment. Some of her allergies are to chicken, grains, white potatoes and there are others that she doesnt tolerate well. I can honestly say that she is now a happy camper. No more bad breath, gas to clear a room is gone, and best of all NO MORE SCRATCHING. Love you Honest Kitchen and so does Katie, Hannah and Lola.
Written by Christie | 8/16/12My dogs love the taste of Zeal! They lick the bowls several times until every last bit of it is gone. I was reading this morning about the preservative ethoxyquin often being added to fish. Is there any of this preservative in the fish used in Zeal? The source says its usually not listed in the ingredients.
